Nina Brink, SHRM-CP, PHR
Director, Certification Nina W. Brink, MHA, SHRM-CP, PHR, has over 15 years of comprehensive experience in human resources and healthcare administration and currently serves as the Senior Manager of Talent Management at Sierra Nevada Corporation. Certified in Everything DiSC®, a Korn Ferry ViaEdge Coach, and a Certified Predictive Index Analyst, Nina loves combining her skills, experience, and acumen as a HR Business Partner with her passion for Talent Management to help lead teams to new heights. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Marketing and an Accounting Minor from the University of San Diego and a Master of Health Administration Degree from the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. In the community, Nina has served as a mentor with Take Stock in Children of Okaloosa County and a Loaned Executive for the United Way of Okaloosa and Walton Counties. She has also served as the Auction Committee Chair for the White-Wilson Community Foundation's Little Black Dress Party, which raises funds to increase access to health services for women in need. Nina is a Past-President of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Emerald Coast Chapter.
Cayla Duckworth, MPA, SHRM-CP, NotaryDirector, College RelationsCayla M. Duckworth, MPA, SHRM-CP, Notary, has over 7 years of experience in human resources and currently serves as the Admissions and Recruitment Counselor for the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. She has experience working for Fortune 500 companies, 501(c)(3) organizations, the government sector, and small businesses where she was HR Department of 1. Cayla holds a Bachelor of Communication Degree with an emphasis in Political Science and Leadership Studies and a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of South Florida. She stays involved with the University as an alum, and continues to volunteer with Phi Sigma Pi, is on the Board for MPA Alumni, and assists in research conducted by faculty at the University. Director, Emerging Professionals Georgette Cartagena is a Corporate Citizenship Partner managing corporate social impact programs such as charitable giving, employee volunteerism, a grant program and internal DEI strategy. Her varied background spans hospitality procurement, real estate and most recently technology. Georgette is also the President of Algo Mas HR, an HR consulting company specializing in employee experience programs. She has served on the HR Florida Conference team as the Social Media volunteer in 2020 and previously served on the board of New Leaders Council Palm Beach, a leadership development organization training young professionals to be agents of change in their local community, in multiple capacities. Director, Legislative Affairs - Federal Kimberly Boulahanis, PHR, SHRM-CP, leads Datalink Software’s human resource department and is responsible for the strategic initiatives in the areas of culture, leadership development, performance management, compensation, and retention. With more than 20 years in the healthcare industry, Kim brings a wealth of experience and dynamic vision to building a culture of quality and engagement by identifying top talent. Prior to joining Datalink, Kim was the Senior Director of Human Resources for MHK where she led strategic initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, compliance and performance management.Kim has served on The Board of HR Tampa for several years in roles including Director of Programs and Director of Legislative and Government Affairs. She has also served as Charity Chair for the HR Florida State Council. Director, Legislative Affairs - State Dee Anna Hays is a Shareholder in Ogletree Deakins’ Tampa Office who assists employers with employment law compliance and litigation. She is a Board Certified attorney in labor and employment law by the Florida Bar. Dee Anna serves as
the Director of Legislative Affairs for HR Tampa and is legal co-counsel for the HR Florida State Council. Dee Anna is the Chair of the firm’s Multistate Advice and Counseling Practice Group. She is passionate about providing legal
advice and counseling to management in difficult workplace situations and has the honor of being a trusted advisor to many long term clients. Dee Anna is Board Certified by the Florida Bar and is a nationally recognized speaker and

Director, Membership Leigh Jacobs' expertise in Employee Benefits spans over 30 years of experience. She is currently a Partner and Consultant at USI Insurance Services. Leigh leverages the powerful combination of her real-world experience with the cutting-edge USI ONE Advantage® platform to create tailored benefit programs that prioritize people, company culture, and cost efficiency. In addition to her role at USI, Leigh actively contributes to the community as the Membership Director for HR Florida and as the Past Board Chair for Operation New Uniform. Director, SHRM Foundation Andrea Williams, SHRM-SCP, SPHR is currently a Human Resources Market Director for AdventHealth. Her primary location is the Heart of Florida hospital in Davenport and she also oversees the Lake Wales Hospital. Andrea
has over 11 years of experience in Healthcare Human Resources and over 20 years in HR overall. Her career also included positions at the Polk County Sheriff's Office and GEICO. Andrea has a Bachelor's degree from the University

Director, Workforce Readiness Anthony Gagliano was promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for CareerSource Suncoast in 2022. During his 14 years at CareerSource Suncoast, Anthony has connected with thousands of businesses and community partners around the mission of recruiting, training and retaining talent for the Suncoast. He has served on boards and committees for local colleges, chambers of commerce and economic development organizations. Prior to joining CareerSource Suncoast in 2009, Anthony spent 2 ½ years as an editor at the EastCounty Observer, covering sports and news for a weekly community newspaper. Anthony is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism.
