Heather Deyrieux, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

   

Bio:  Heather “HD” Deyrieux, MSM, SHRM-SCP, SPHR is the Manager - Workforce Planning with Sarasota County Government. As part of the Human Resources Team, she supports over 2,200 employees and 1,100 volunteers. She previously served in the private sector as Director of Talent at Dental Care Alliance, Director of Strategic Development at the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA), and Director of Strategic Planning & Development with the Great Job Spot Network. HD has previously served as the President-Elect, Conference Director, Secretary, Treasurer, Emcee and other roles for the conference. Heather earned a Bachelor of Science in General Business and a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resources at the University of Central Florida. Go Knights!

Chad Sorenson, SHRM-SCP, SPHR



Bio: Chad Sorenson, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, is the President and founder of Adaptive HR Solutions, LLC and has over 20 years of diverse business, communications and human resource experience.

He works with companies across the state that range from 5 to 1,200 employees and focuses on leadership development, manager training, employee performance management and employer compliance in industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, construction trades, and professional services organizations.   Prior to founding Adaptive HR Solutions in 2008, Chad has been Vice President, Director and Manager of Human Resources for several companies in the Jacksonville area.

Chad has served on the board of SHRM Jacksonville since 2010, as Chapter President for 2015 and 2016, and is currently the Immediate Past President. He regularly speaks to other SHRM Chapters and business associations across the state on topics such as leadership development and employee engagement.  Chad also now serves on the Executive Committee as the Treasurer for the HR Florida State Council.  He has been on the HR Florida State Conference team for many years.

Chad is an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. The keys to his success are Devotion to God, Dedication to Family, Continuous Service, Lifetime Learning, and Always Remembering to Laugh.

 Martha "Marty" Bryson, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

 
Bio:  Martha Bryson, SPHR has been an HR practitioner for close to 20 years. Her career has been in hospitality, entertainment and healthcare.  As the Director of Staff Services, she is plan administer for the retirement, insurance, leave of absence/ADA and worker’s comp programs for Hope HealthCare Services.  Marty, as she is known to those around her, is the HR Mentor for 25 department managers assisting them with leadership development to sustain success in their role and allow them to be a catalyst to excite staff members to do their best work.  Active in her local chapter, Marty served in numerous roles including president in 2006. She was awarded the HRMA of Southwest Florida Human Resources Award of Excellence in 2003.  Marty has served the HR Florida State Council as a District Director, Treasurer, Registrar and Secretary.

Kay WIlson, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

  Bio: M. Kay Wilson, SHRM-SPC, SPHR has more than 25 years in  Human Resources in numerous industries including hospitality, construction, and most recently healthcare. She currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Citrus Cardiology Consultants, PA, a multi-unit medical practice covering four counties in Central Florida, where she directs the operations of eleven locations.  Kay has served the HR Florida community on local and state levels in positions such as Chapter President, District Director, State Membership Chair and numerous Conference Team roles.  She holds a BSBA from Appalachian State University, is a certified Master Trainer, and has completed post-graduate programs at Wake Forest University and Harvard Business School,  She is a closet wanna-be writer and believes that coffee should be its own food group.

Barbara Matsumoto, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

  Bio: Barbara Matsumoto, SHRM -SCP, SPHR is the Human Resource Manager for Aerosonic LLC.   She is an  HR Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience.  She has served on the board of HR Tampa, and on the HR. Florida conference team in various roles.  Her career has been focused in manufacturing where she has a six-sigma green belt and has championed education through co-op, apprenticeship, and student mentoring programs.   Barbara has promoted community involvement through several different charities, and has taken an active role in employee wellness for the company.

Director, State Conference
Tina Kuga Garrell, MHR

   

Bio:  Tina Kuga graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Masters of Arts in Human Resources from Rollins College. She started her career in Human Resources and Management at Universal Orlando, working in multiple HR departments, including Employee Relations, Employee Benefits, and Training and Development. Tina supported many operational departments there; Food & Beverage, Merchandise, Ride & Show, and Entertainment.

Tina decided to enter the world of Entrepreneurship, and start her own insurance agency in 2006.She focused on building a full-service insurance agency, tailored to the needs of individuals and business owners. Tina has since won many awards in Sales with Florida Blue, including Top Individual and Group sales for the Central Region, and being awarded one of the “Top 100 Agents” in sales for 2008 and 2009. She has built her agency into a Call Center, employing over 50 Agents.

She has continued her interest in Entrepreneurship by helping to create and develop other companies, such as For Better, Not Worse, a clothing company, and EHR Advisors, a consulting company involved in working with Physicians and Dentists, helping to implement Electronic Health Records software for their practice.

Tina has also been involved in multiple leadership roles as a Board Member for The Mustard Seed of Central Florida, a non-profit organization, and as the Marketing Chair for the SBSHRM Chapter for 3 years. In 2015, she was recommended for the Marketing Chair role for the HR Florida Conference and Expo, and held that role for the 2015 and 2016 conferences. She then moved into the Operations Chair role for the 2017 conference, and is serving as the Conference Chair for the upcoming 2018 conference.

Bio: Lynnette Holsinger, SPHR, GPHR is the Director of Human Resources for Nature Coast EMS.  In 2013 she served as the President of HR Tampa.  An active volunteer leader, Lynnette also served as the 2013 State Conference Chair and the 2014 and 2015 State Conference Director.  

She joined the board of directors of the Employers Association Forum in January 2014.
