For the fourth year, we have assembled an incredible team of human resource and business professionals that are passionate about utilizing social media.  This dynamic group comes from various professional backgrounds - different industries, years of experience, interests - and are all at the top of their game.  Not only will this group be participating in our social media panel,  they will also be working with our team of volunteers to bring you another amazing conference. In addition to following our Social Technology Team on their respective individual blogs, you can also check out posts from them on the HR Florida blog, HR Mouth of the South.

Steve Boese brings over twenty years of experience in the implementation of complex human resources technology solutions for global enterprise clientele. Currently, Steve is a Director of Talent Management Strategy for Oracle Corporation helping to create and deliver the next generation of Human Capital Management solutions.

Steve is also a leading HR blogger and hosts the “HR Happy Hour” a popular radio program dedicated to opening the lines of communication among thought leaders, practitioners and service providers in the global human resources field. He has also been invited to speak at numerous HR and industry events like the HR Technology Conference, the HR Executive Forum, and several regional SHRM events. Steve’s blog was selected as the number one Talent Management Blog by the editors of the Fistful of Talent in February 2010. 

Steve is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and resides in Rochester, NY.

Joe Gerstandt helps organizations deliver on their promises. Joe works with Fortune 500 corporations, small non-profits, and everything in between. He also speaks at numerous conferences and summits each year and blogs at joegerstandt.com. He is a contributor to the Workforce Diversity Network Expert Forum and his insights have been published in Diversity Executive, HR Executive, The Diversity Factor, The American Diversity Report, the Corporate Recruiting Leadership Journal, Associations Now and other print and on-line journals. He also serves on the board of directors for the Global Diversity and Inclusion Foundation.

Joe grew up on a family farm in NW Iowa, served four years in the United States Marine Corps, including participation in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, attended Iowa State University and then spent six years working in management and business development for technology and communication companies. He then made a career change and went to work for a grassroots non-profit organization doing HIV and STD prevention with high risk populations where he found himself drawn to issues related to diversity and inclusion and became actively involved in that work.

Today, Joe is an advocate for resetting the diversity and inclusion conversation, and believes strongly that we can ill afford to continue applying a 20th century approach to an increasingly critical set of 21st century issues. Joe lives in Omaha, Nebraska (the middle of everywhere) with his patient, patient, kind and patient wife, two daughters and a baby boy. He sleeps too little and reads too much.

Jason Lauritsen is a former human resources executive turned consultant and keynote speaker.  His company, Bulletproof Talent, helps organizations to develop accountable leaders and employees who are bulletproof to their circumstances.  Bulletproof Talent helps organizations implement a more reality-based approach to employee engagement and talent development. Jason is the co-author of the book, Social Gravity: Harnessing the Natural Laws of Relationships and is half of the dynamic and provocative speaking duo, Talent Anarchy

Trish McFarlane is the head of HR for Perficient, Inc., an IT management consulting firm.  She has over 15 years as a practitioner in human resources and communications.  She is also a consultant, writer and speaker.  With expertise in leadership development, employer branding, innovation, change management, social media and all aspects of human resources, Trish is able to capture readers and audiences with real-life examples of the way leadership plays out in organizations.  She writes the HR Ringleader blog and is co-founder of the Women of HR blog.  She is also the co-founder of the HRevolution conference.

Trish has been a speaker at various events. Most recently at the Senior HR Executive Conference , The HR Technology Conference, The Conference Board’s “Social Media for HR Conference”, CHCA, HR Southwest, HR Florida, Talent Net Live,HRevolution, and TRU London.  She has received numerous accolades for her blogging and online efforts.

Lisa Rosendahl is a practicing HR professional with over 18 years experience in leading people, inspiring commitments and managing change. Also a speaker and a writer, Lisa draws on her personal and professional experiences and current research to engage audiences with real life examples of how bringing the best of who you to any situation can make all the difference in the world. Lisa writes and speaks on leadership, personal growth and human resources to bridge the gap between what currently is and what it can be.  

Lisa has spoken about credibility and blogging for professional growth, participated as a panel member discussing the value of social media in HR, moderated a panel on employee engagement and co-lead a discussion with HR Professionals on “Can HR Be Trusted?" She will be both moderating an HR Technology panel and participating as a HR and Social Media panel member at the 2012 HR and EEO in the Federal Workplace Conference in Washington D.C.

Named one of the Top 25 Digital Influencers in 2009 and 2010, Lisa is an advocate of social media for personal and professional development. Her blog, Simply Lisa by Lisa Rosendahl, has been recognized as a Top 50 Leadership Blog, a Top 25 Talent Management Blog, and one of the Top 50 HR Blogs to watch in 2010. She is the co-founder and editor of Women of HR, a multi-contributor blog dedicated to the development of women in human resources and business. A former US Army officer, Lisa has held human resources leadership roles in both public and private organizations and with the federal government.
