Representing over 16,000 individual human resource professionals, the HR Florida State Council is the state affiliate for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). HR Florida State Council Wins Top Honors for National Fundraising

Orlando, Fl. (February 11, 2021) — HR Florida State Council (HR Florida)
was named the top fundraiser by the SHRM Foundation, the nonprofit affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest HR professional society, on its list of
Top 10 Fundraising State Councils for 2020,
contributing more than $23,000. This is the fifth year in a row HR Florida walked away with top honors since the Council’s win in 2016.

HR Florida's 42nd Annual Conference & Expo Shines During Pandemic
Orlando, Fla. – (September 3, 2020) –The HR Florida State Council , Florida’s affiliate for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), is pleased to announce its 42nd annual
conference held from August 30th – September 2nd at the Gaylord Palms Resort
& Convention Center, and the first hybrid event of this size, was deemed a success based on onsite and attendee feedback. The event – which was held in-person with strict safety measures in place as well as
held online sessions – was designed to enable members to safely congregate and involve those who chose to attend remotely.

Council as Top Fundraiser for 2019

Tampa, Fla. – The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Foundation has announced its top fundraisers of 2019. HR Florida State Council took the top spot in the country for state councils, while six state chapters landed in the Top 25: HR Tampa (No. 11), HR Palm Beach County (No. 12), SHRM Jacksonville (No. 14), Big Bend SHRM (No. 17), Greater Orlando SHRM (No. 21) and HR Collier (No. 22). SHRM has more than 575 affiliated chapters nationwide.

Bay County SHRM Selected as Pinnacle Award Winner for 2019 by Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)

Panama City, Fla. (October 30, 2019) – The Bay County Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has been chosen by the national organization of SHRM for its Pinnacle Award—the highest honor given to SHRM state councils and chapters for notable contributions to the human resource profession.
The Bay County SHRM chapter was recognized for its innovative and impactful program, “Hurricane Michael Outreach and Recovery Efforts,” that supported devastated chapter members in the wake of Hurricane Michael, a Category Five storm that destroyed many homes and businesses in the Bay County area one year ago.
