HR Florida wants to make your conference experience productive and informative.  To help you customize your program selection, we have developed several program tracks to select the presentations that best meet your needs. This guide will assist you in selecting programs that will optimize your conference experience. 

Note:  Program Tracks correspond closely to the SHRM Learning System® body of knowledge.

Business Management & Strategy

Human resource professionals are more often relied upon for their input as a strategic partner, playing a key role in helping the organization meet its business goals.  Learn how you can be an effective partner by supporting organizational vision, mission and values through effective programs that maximize employee performance and create business value.  Through these sessions you will develop an understanding of how to utilize business metrics to achieve organizational goals, and develop programs that influence and execute strategies for managing organizational change, while developing your own skills as a strategic leader. 

Workforce Planning & Employment  

In today’s changing environment, managing talent is an organization’s highest priority and HR’s biggest challenge.  Learn from the experts how they met the challenges of sourcing, recruiting, retention and organizational exit while meeting the demands of the internal and external business environment.   Learn about successful workforce planning strategies that address the needs of all employees in the organization, from the C-suite to the production line.

Human Resource Development

Global HR

The Global Human Resources Discipline deals with all aspects of HR within the worldwide context. It includes matters such as management of global workforces, expatriation and repatriation, HR practices and laws around the world and those arising in specific countries and regions.   In these sessions attendees will learn about careers, communications, legal and regulatory issues, technology, metrics, outsourcing and effective practices in the Global HR arena.
