Monday Night Social-HR Rocks!!

  • We begin rockin’ on Monday night with a live 80s’ band – American Hot Rods
  • You’ll marvel at high-energy, acrobatic hula hoop routines by Hoolamonsters. Then take a quick lesson to be ready for the hula hoop contest at the Tuesday night sock hop! 
  • Plus line dancing and shenanigans with our favorite DJ Jim
  • Fun'draising event with carnival games such as Plinko, Duck Pluck, and Balloon Pop; all to benefit the SHRM Foundation. Tickets will be sold for $5 for 2 chances, or $10 for 5 chances.

Entertainment - Tuesday Night Party!!

We're rockin' around the clock through the fabulous 1950s in The Grease Experience, the entertainment theme of the 2017 HR Florida Conference.

Special events culminate in Tuesday night's Sock Hop featuring vignettes from the movie, costume contests, dance-offs and carnival games, all around an old-fashioned soda fountain.

So ladies, get your poodle skirts and pink lady jackets, and men, slick back that hair and don leather jackets and rolled-up jeans for another memory-making extravaganza. Once again, chapters are encouraged to incorporate our Monday evening party into your chapter gatherings. 

Tuesday night is included in full conference registration (one ticket per attendee) and a ticket is required for entry. Student and one day conference registrations do not include an event ticket.

Expo Hall

Visit with over 160 companies offering the latest human resource products and services. Visit the Expo Hall on Monday beginning at 11:00am, stay for lunch and come back often! Expo Hall access is included in conference registration. For non-registered conference guests, one day Expo Hall passes are available for $50 each, which includes unlimited access to the Expo Hall for the day that you purchase. Pre-conference participant and vendor list e-mail marketing will be limited to one (1) message per event registrant up to the event date of August 28, 2017.

Post-conference participant and vendor list e-mail marketing is limited to three (3) messages per event registrant for DIAMOND PLUS, DIAMOND and PLATINUM sponsors and two (2) messages per event registrant for GOLD PLUS, GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE PLUS and BRONZE sponsors after the event date of August 30, 2017.

Electronic pre/post conference participant and vendor list sharing is strictly prohibited.

Flexible Lunch Schedule

Concurrent sessions run throughout the entire day. As a result, lunch is available over a two-hour time period. Attendees have a choice to attend EARLY LUNCH at 11:45 am or LATE LUNCH at 1:00 pm, alleviating a lunch rush. The intent is to create a more pleasant experience allowing attendees to enjoy a leisurely lunch and more time for face-to-face interaction with exhibitors.

Self-parking is available at $5.00 per day. Valet parking is available at $26.00 per day.

Photography & Videography

Uncharted Video Productions will be providing the official photography and videography services. You may view all images taken throughout the conference by visiting the HR Florida Flickr. Viewing, downloading, sharing, and printing will be free.
