An Executive Briefing on Strategic Planning: The Drivers Model - Stuart Smith, SPHR

As a leader, you understand that having a strategic plan is vital to the success of your organization. But, anyone can put together a plan on paper. A strong strategy with the right components to take your plan from paper to action will elevate your organization to new heights. From strategy development to execution, you must understand the critical components to include in a strategic plan, how to guide your team effectively (and less painfully) through the planning process, and how to build your team’s buy-in and commitment to implementing the plan. This is no easy task but not an impossible one either – only if you have a methodology that works. In this interactive session, you will discover the Drivers Model, a proven strategic planning framework, from an expert strategic planning facilitator. Simplify your approach to strategic planning with this methodology that is easy to understand and apply – scalable for big or small organizations. During this session, you will walk through the steps of building your plan. (The content from this session is adapted from the Secrets to Facilitating Strategy three-day course by Leadership Strategies.) You will leave this session feeling energized to develop and tackle a winning strategy. Learn these fundamental principles every leader must possess when it comes to strategy.
