As Millennials leave the classroom and enter the workplace, do you know what it takes to recruit, retain and inspire today’s top talent from the Class of 2011? I Love Rewards annually surveys university seniors to find out what they look for in their employer once they are in the workforce. This report, The Class of 2011 Survey Report, presents the results of a nationwide survey questionnaire distributed to post-secondary students, and provides key insights into what graduating students look for in an employer and how they perceive the workplace. The Class of 2011 survey is intended to help employers recruit and engage the Class of 2011 and beyond. Questions include: salary expectations, how they find their first employer, how long they plan to stay with their first employer, what motivates them and many more. The most interesting statistic from the Class of 2010 survey was that graduates were planning to stay with their first employer on average of 8.9 years. The survey will be released in April and the findings will be discussed during this session with deep analysis of what is motivating the Class of 2011, what is keeping them engaged at work and trends in recruitment. HR practitioners will have the ability to ask questions to two of the industry’s leading experts.
