With two decades of HR experience at some of the top Fortune 500 and Great Place to Work employers, Michael VanDervort is an eclectic HR professional with an extraordinary curiosity about how things work. Michael writes and speaks on human resources and social media topics. Michael is also a regular contributor to the Examiner, and Jobing websites, and shares his own work on the Human Race Horses blog.
Professionally, Michael works as an HR practitioner, doing web research and “think-tank” projects on human resources and employee relations issues for one of the largest employers in Florida. Michael holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and an MLIR in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University.
