HR Florida is a 100% volunteer entity consisting of 28 SHRM affiliated chapters across the state. Our primary objective is to support the mission and initiatives of SHRM. Lynn Heckler named 2015 HR Professional of the Year!
August 31, 2015 – Annually, the HR Florida State Council recognizes a human resource leader who has advanced the profession in a significant way. The individuals nominated for this award serve as role models for the profession, setting the standard for others to follow, and applying their expertise to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Lynn Heckler was named the 2015 HR Professional of the Year in the presence of more than 1,500 HR leaders at the State conference. The award was presented by HR Florida State Council. HR Florida State Council named Top 10 Fundraising State Council!
August 14, 2015 - HR Florida State Council was named a Top 10 Fundraising State Council for their outstanding support of the SHRM Foundation in 2014. State Council leaders attended a luncheon in their honor during the SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this summer.

HR Florida Council, Inc. Receives Prestigious SHRM Award for Advancing the HR Profession
April 8, 2015 — The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) recently awarded the HR Florida State Council its prestigious EXCEL Platinum Award for HR Florida Council’s accomplishments in 2014. The award is part of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence, which aligns individual chapters and councils with SHRM’s goals. The award recognizes accomplishments and strategic activities and initiatives that enhance the human resources profession.
